III in a series of four studies of bleeding hearts, each painting progressively more abstracted. Painted on 140 lb. hot press paper, which allows the movement of the water to create beautiful and subtle shapes within the painting, the vibrant colors are perfectly balanced.

The image shown is in a 16:20 aspect ratio due to scanning limitations; however the actual painting has a 15.25:22.25 aspect ratio. The painting is matted in a 1.5 inch off-white matt and framed in a 1/4 inch black metal frame. The framed dimensions are 18" x 24".
